On Saturday, 17 October 2026, Purple Mania & String Ladies will bring the sound of Deep Purple to the Grand Casino Basel with powerful, detailed and surprising arrangements.
Highway Star unleashes its unstoppable energy, Burn hits with full force, and the strings add an extra layer of sonic depth to Perfect Strangers. Classics such as Child in Time and Smoke on the Water are also part of the Prague-based tribute band’s repertoire.
Distinctive guitars, striking keyboards and a driving rhythm section meet violin and cello. The String Ladies do far more than simply accompany the band: they take up the melodies, add counterpoints and create new musical tension between the rock band and the sound of strings.
